A clone a day keeps the doctors at bay!

We all know that Michael J Fox made a huge deal over finding a cure for his disease.  And for the millions like him.  But after making his commercials, when he was  confronted with the issues, he admitted that he never actually read the amendment.  He was just supporting his candidate.  (That in itself is depressing!)  Well he got his wish the bill passed, but there is a catch!  This bill was not what many of the voters believed it to be.

The supporters of the bill tried originally to make it sound like it was  legalizing stem-cell research, (which is not in any way shape or form illegal - Private researchers can kill as many embryos as they like for their research,  but there are severe restrictions when the company uses government funds.)   Then churches started alerting the public to the fact  that the amendment was actually about cloning.   When they did that supporters of the amendment changed their spin on it claiming that the bill limits cloning, which it does.  But that is also not the full truth. The bill actually makes human cloning legal.  It was NOT legal before, it is now.    It also puts a restriction on it that a human clone must not be allowed to come to full term.

While this seems bad enough, it is really quite mild when you compare it to what is going on in other contries in the name of scientific evidence!  The BBC reported that scientists in the UK plan to create embryos that are part human part cow!  Yes, you heard me right!     UK scientists have applied for permission to create embryos by fusing human DNA with cow eggs.  Think I'm crazy?  Read the article for yourself!

When is God going to say, "HEY!!!  I'M GOD - NOT YOU!!!
